Outstanding photos of Vietnam taken by foreign photographers are going to be displayed at an exhibition held in northern Ninh Binh province from November 26 to December 3.
The event, which is the focus of the Vietnam International Photography Festival, will be organized at the Library of Ninh Binh province, No. 4 Le Hong Phong street in Ninh Binh city, according to the Department of Arts, Photography and Exhibition under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, according to VNA.
The exhibition will feature 177 works by 93 photographers from many countries and territories, vividly reflecting the beauty of Vietnam’s landscape, people, and culture. In addition to conveying the message about Vietnam as a destination of peace and world photography, the exhibition will also connect photographers with the photography-loving public at home and abroad, Nhan Dan cited.
The competition is part of the first “Vietnam International Photography Festival” which is scheduled to get underway in northern Ninh Binh province, VOV reported. The event is open to Vietnamese and foreign amateur and professional photographers to submit their works that showcase the beauty of Vietnamese land and people. All entries must be sent to the organizing board’s email address photofestival2021vn@gmail.com before August 20. Each photographer is permitted to send a maximum of 20 photos.
The exhibition is also available online at http://ape.gov.vn.
The Vietnam International Photography Festival is taking place as part of a range of activities during the 2021 National Tourism Year in Ninh Binh and aims to develop the brand of Vietnamese photography. This will thereby help to promote the country’s image whilst simultaneously enhancing international exchanges through photography, according to Vietnam Plus.
