The Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security and the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women) jointly inaugurated a photo exhibition and legal awareness campaign on November 27, at the Museum of People's Public Security in Hanoi. The event was held to mark National Action Month for Gender Equality and Gender-Based Violence Prevention and Response.

In "Down the Streets 4," artist Pham Binh Chuong explores Hanoi's timeless layers, combining the old and modern day in images of enduring city spirit. The exhibition marks 25 years since the artist began his path in realistic art and 20 years since he began presenting his "Down the Streets" series, which is dedicated entirely to Hanoi.

86 black-and-white photographs, unveiled for the first time, retrace a journey through Hanoi's memories and present-day life during its Doi Moi (Renewal). These images result from years of deep connection with the city by British photographer Andy Soloman. The photographs are showcased at the exhibition “Hanoi - A Time to Remember”.

Photo exhibition ‘Hanoi – A time to remember” displays 86 artworks by two photographers Le Bich (Vietnam) and Andy Soloman (UK). The artworks are diary pages recording the meaningful transformations of Hanoi.
