Olivier Brochet has served as the French Ambassador to Vietnam for over a year. This is his second Tet in Vietnam, allowing him to once again experience the festive atmosphere, with a mix of fascination, curiosity, and appreciation.

The G4 ambassadors to Vietnam, representing Canada, New Zealand, Norway, and Switzerland, performed the Vietnamese song "Nam qua đa lam gi" (What have we done this past year) alongside the Green Wind Choir in a music video filmed at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel. The video conveys their heartfelt New Year greetings for the Year of the Snake 2025.

In 1993, British photographer Andy Soloman visited Vietnam for the first time and experienced the Lunar New Year, known as Tet. During his journey, he explored cultural landmarks such as the flower market at Thong Nhat Park, the traditional firecracker village of Binh Da, and the vibrant firecracker festival in Dong Ky.

To help ease the burden for those traveling home for Tet, on the morning of January 24, many foreigners along with young volunteers across Ho Chi Minh City organized the distribution of tens of thousands of bottled water, bread, and helmets along Do Muoi Street (formerly National Highway 1A) in District 12, Ho Chi Minh City.
