	Cruise Tourism Flourishes On Reunification Day Holiday In Vietnam

The ceremony was organized by Saigontourist Travel Service Company in coordination with Con Dao District People's Committee and Con Dao National Tourist Area Management Board. This is the first international cruise ship to return to Con Dao since 1999.

Nguyen Thanh Luu, General Director of Saigontourist Travel Services Company shared that in the first 6 months of 2024, the company has served more than 60,000 international cruise tourists, an increase of 15% compared to 2023.

"Con Dao continues to be favored among top stop destinations of many other international cruise lines by Saigontourist Travel," said Luu.

On June 2, Con Dao district (Ba Ria - Vung Tau province) held a welcoming ceremony for the international cruise ship Resorts World One coming to Con Dao, bringing more than 2,200 international tourists to this island (Photo: hanoimoi.vn).

Tourists on board Resorts World One spent some time in Con Dao island, visiting ecological and spiritual tourist attractions like Con Dao Museum, Phu Tuong Prison Camp, Phu Son Prison Camp, Island Lord's House, and Con Dao market.

They also experienced trekking to explore primeval forests at the Con Dao National Park. They then took a canoe to Hon Bay Canh, Hon Cau to visit the Con Dao turtle hatchery, the mangrove forest. They also completed some enriching activities such as coral sightseeing, diving, and kayaking.

Before arriving at Con Dao, the Resorts World One ship docked at Phu My port (Ba Ria - Vung Tau province) on June 1 for tourists to go ashore to visit Ho Chi Minh City. The ship will continue its voyage to Redang (Malaysia) on June 3 and return to Singapore on June 4.
