Fourth French Food Festival – Balade en France 2024 Held in Hanoi
With a majestic performing arts stage and nearly 80 culinary booths, the fourth edition of the French culinary festival – Balade en France 2024, officially held at Thong Nhat (Reunification) Park in Hanoi on April 5-7, NDO reported.
This is the biggest of its kind so far, offering a chance for Hanoi citizens and visitors to explore French cuisine and learn more about the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics.

A vibrant and colorful art performance with the participation of the ‘Suc song moi’ (New Vitality) Symphony Orchestra, along with French and Vietnamese artists.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, French Ambassador to Vietnam Olivier Brochet expressed his pleasure at the return of the French culinary festival - Balade en France 2024 to Hanoi.

The Ambassador stressed that the festival is an opportunity for French and Vietnamese people to enhance cultural exchanges towards strengthening economic cooperation between the two countries.
This year’s festival conveys a message of maintaining a healthy life through healthy eating and exercise.
The nearly 80 booths allowed the visitors to enjoy French dishes such as croissants, macarons, cold meats, and cheeses.

Within the framework of the festival, a space of 300sq.m. is marked off into a sport village to popularize the upcoming Paris Olympic and Paralympic. |
In addition, visitors also joined various activities such as enjoying premium wine, learning to cook, basketball, football, archery and badminton competitions.
Xuan Hoan from Hanoi shared that even though this is the first time participating in this event, he felt this is an extremely vibrant cultural and culinary space. "It was raining but there were a lot of people coming. I was most impressed with the French bread thanks to the way people made it and introduced it to diners."
First held in 2018, the festival drew 300,000 visits last year in its three days.
