French pianist David Violi to perform in Vietnam
The Department of Performing Arts under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will organize a performance by pianist David Violi from France at the Hanoi Opera House at 8pm on May 20th.
David Violi was born in Nancy, France. He started his musical studies at Nancy Conservatory, then the Supérieur de Musicque National Conservatory in Lyon. He has performed in many countries around the world such as Japan, Spain, Sweden, German, Canada, China and Italy. He has won many international prizes in music, including the Sakai international piano competition in Japan.
This is the first performance by the young pianist at the Hanoi Opera House. The pianist would combine technical virtuoso with constantly renewed imagination. Anne Queffélec, one of his masters, sees David as “a romantic and passionate, full of generosity personality.”/.
