Friendship exchange held to celebrate 60th anniversary of Uncle Ho's visit to Jiangsu

The event was held to implement a series of events to honor President Ho Chi Minh in foreign countries and further promote friendly exchanges and cooperation with Jiangsu, China.
In the framework of this event, the delegation of both sides went to the Archive Department of Jiangsu Province, together studied Uncle Ho's documents and images during his visits to Jiangsu in 1955, 1961, 1966, traveled to the monuments that Uncle Ho visited in 1961 in Nanjing, including the memorial of revolutionary hero Yuhuatai, Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, Linggu Temple, Presidential Palace.

The two sides also held seminars and exchanges about the noble values in President Ho Chi Minh's ideology and morality, as well as the important meanings of preserving, inheriting, and promoting the friendship tradition that Uncle Ho, Uncle Mao, and generations of the two Parties' leaders has built up for the two countries.
Speaking at the seminar, Consul General Ninh Thanh Cong proudly affirmed that President Ho Chi Minh was a great and outstanding leader who sacrificed and devoted his life to the cause of national liberation, contributing to the global fight for peace, national independence, democracy, and social progress.

The Vietnam-China friendship, built up by President Ho Chi Minh, President Mao Zedong, and generations of leaders of the two countries, has become a precious property, a solid foundation for developing bilateral relations, bringing practical benefits to the people of the two countries.
This activity is an opportunity for the concerned agencies of the two sides, especially the young cadres and party members, to earn a deeper understanding of the friendship's history and tradition between the two parties and countries, taking that as a good example to study, actively promoting friendly exchange and cooperation between Jiangsu and Vietnam's localities, making a practical contribution to the stable and sustainable development of Vietnam-China's relations.

Jiangsu's Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Office expressed his high consensus and emphasized that President Ho Chi Minh had made great contributions to the Vietnamese revolution and the international communist movement. President Ho is a good friend of China's Party, Government, and people.
The Party Committee, government, and people of Jiangsu have deep affections for President Ho Chi Minh. Inheriting that precious tradition of friendship, the Jiangsu Foreign Affairs Office vowed to actively cooperate with Vietnam to nurture new development chapters in Vietnam-China mutual interest, friendship, neighborship.

Jiangsu is the most comprehensive and dynamic developed province in China. Its per capita GDP, social security, general competitiveness, innovation capacity, 5G technology application, artificial intelligence all stand at the top compared to other China localities. By the end of 2020, Jiangsu has 240 investment projects in Vietnam with registered capital of over USD 1.55 billion, while Vietnam owns 51 investment projects in Jiangsu, with an investment capital of USD 604 million.
