Friendship Houses Granted to Disadvantaged Families in Dong Nai

The Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs of Dong Nai Province and the Dong Nai Union of Friendship Organizations, in collaboration with the People's Committee of Dinh Quan District and the Les Enfants du Dragon organization (France), organized the handover of two friendship houses to poor families in the district on July 29.

The two houses were given to Vong A Khin and Son Thi Cam Hang, who are residents of Gia Canh commune, Dinh Quan district.

Each house was supported with VND 70 million by the Les Enfants du Dragon and VND 30 million by the Dinh Quan District Fatherland Front Committee. The remaining funds came from the families themselves.

The Les Enfants du Dragon is a French non-governmental organization operating with the aim of providing financial and material assistance to help the poor in Vietnam, thereby creating opportunities for volunteers to participate in charitable missions for this organization or indirectly through other member associations.

Since 2014, the Les Enfants du Dragon Organization has been awarded two certificates of merit by the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee for cooperation in foreign non-governmental aid.
