Passengers can take the flights if they are fully vaccinated with the last dose administered at least two weeks before the flight; or if they are Covid-19 patients who have recovered at least six months prior.
All passengers are also required to take Covid-19 tests 72 hours before departure with negative results.
When moving from the airport to their accommodation and during their stay, passengers have to strictly follow Covid-19 prevention guidelines.
Hanoi has asked passengers to undergo seven-day quarantine at the city’s concentrated quarantine centres and lodging facilities designated by local authorities. Passengers have to pay quarantine and testing costs themselves.
They are requested to continue medical self-monitoring at home or place of residence for the subsequent week.
Hanoi authorities also asked the Ministry of Transport to direct the Vietnam Civil Aviation Authority to work with other localities in designing plans for repatriation of their citizens from HCM City and Da Nang.
