Hospitals overloaded due to dengue fever patients
According to Tran Nhi Ha, deputy director of the Hanoi Department of Health, Hoang Mai, Dong Da and many other districts in Hanoi continue to report an increase in dengue fever patients. From early 2017 to now (especially since May), there are approximately 8,000 dengue fever cases.
Hanoi Department of Health will work with private health clinics on August 2 to reduce pressure on over-crowded public hospitals. These clinics will be the primary reception sites for patients.
Patients with abnormal fever should immediately go to these clinics to be tested and monitored, in case of severe signs, they will be transferred to hospitals at higher levels./.
