A three-day exhibition in Hanoi introduced photos representing the old beauty of Hanoi, impressive visual proof that the Vietnamese capital is a city worth living in.

The event, titled “For a Worth Living Hanoi” and initiated by the Denmark Embassy in Vietnam in cooperation with People’s Participation Working Group (PPWG), was held on the pedestrian zone near the iconic Hoan Kiem Lake from September 6 to 9.

More than 40 works by amateur photographers who were brought up in Hanoi were on display to provide an insight about citizens’ daily life as well as convey their own stories and memories of the millennia-old city.

Visitors to “For A Worth Living Hanoi” got to see cultural activities along road paths, old residential areas with loads of memories and other small little things that remind its own citizens of their hometown whenever they are away.
