Heaviest rain hits parts of Thailand's capital
Severe rain on the night of June 20th has hit many parts of Thailand's capital Bangkok, causing flooding in many areas and worsening the already chaotic traffic during rush hour.
Up to 36 areas across Bangkok were inundated by heavy rain.
Many schools were ordered by their school masters to close down, while most office employees complaining they could not make it to offices on time.

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration’s Flood Prevention Centre reported 30 main roads, on both Bangkok and Thonburi sides of the Chao Phraya River, are affected by flooding.
"We apologize to the people affected by floods," said Bangkok governor Sukhumbhand Paribatra. "But this problem will occur again because Bangkok is a city of water and rain”, he added.
Heavy downpours caused traffic chaos in the capital as many Bangkok streets were inundated.
