Next month, Hanoians will have an exceptional opportunity to meet the world’s most talented hip-hop dancers through the Hip-hop dance performance #Hashtag 2.0 – Pockemon Crew.

In a world where sensations are expressed only with tweets, posts, likes, shares, “#Hashtag 2.0” sounds like the selfie of our contemporary era. Exploring today’s behaviours where you walk with your eyes fixed on your screen rather than looking at your surroundings, Riyad Fghani – the artistic director and choreographer – took a risk and transcribe this new world into dance. Influenced by breakdance, capoeira and even Hindu dance, Pockemon Crew dancers will perform subtle and burlesque technical and acrobatic prowess on stage.

Participants will get to enjoy a choreographic work where aesthetics appeals to our five senses, our perception, our sensitivity.

The event will be held at 8 pm on November 17 at Youth Theater, 11 Ngo Thi Nham Str., Hanoi

Pockemon Crew is the winner of 15 national and international championships including: National champion Battle Of The Year (France); World champion Red Bull BC One (U.S.); National champion Battle Of The Year (France); World champion KB Bboy Korea (South Korea) and World champion UK Bboy Championship (UK).
