Ho Chi Minh city-Di An urban rail to run on April 15th

Operated by the Ho Chi Minh city Department of Transport and the Sai Gon Railway Transport Joint Stock Company, the train is comprised by one cargo coach, and seven air-conditioned soft-seat coaches. Additional coaches will be considered as the demand is increased.
Passengers should be picked up at Sai Gon, Go Vap, Binh Trieu, Song Than and Di An stations.
All full route tickets (over three stations) is are VND10,000, while half-route tickets (under two stations) are VND5,000. Kids under six are free.
The railway sector plans to operate 22 round-trip rails each day.

Each day, there are 20,000 local people traveling from Sai Gon to Di An and vice-versea. The new route is expected to ease the overloaded for public transport system and avoid traffic jams./.
