The seminar aims to effectively implement the Party and State's policies and guidelines for the Vietnamese community abroad, focusing on issues related to nationality, identity, residence registration, and civil status matters. This helps overseas Vietnamese understand and comply with these regulations.

During the seminar, representatives from the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Justice and the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department provided information and answered numerous questions from overseas Vietnamese about current legal regulations concerning identity registration, civil status work, and other relevant legal matters for the Vietnamese community living abroad.

By doing so, overseas Vietnamese gain a better understanding of legal regulations, making administrative procedures smoother when they return home. This also strengthens connections, support, and mutual understanding, helping to effectively resolve legal issues of interest to overseas Vietnamese.

At the event, the Ho Chi Minh City Press Center and the Association of Overseas Vietnamese Businessmen signed a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance the role of the Association in connecting and promoting trade, investment, cultural exchange, and people-to-people exchange between Vietnam and other countries.

During the signing ceremony, Nguyen Hong Hue, Chairman of the Association of Overseas Vietnamese Businessmen, announced that the Association has recently upgraded its website, which attracts over 16 million views, to continuously update information on legal regulations and procedures of Vietnamese law. This will help overseas Vietnamese stay informed and understand the necessary information.

Hue expressed his belief that, through this signing ceremony, communication activities and information support for the Vietnamese business community abroad will become increasingly effective and professional.
