International exhibition “All colors of Asia” in Moscow

An exhibition entitled “All colors of Asia” has taken place at the State Darwin Museum in Russia’s capital Moscow on August 26th.

(VNF) - An exhibition entitled “All colors of Asia” has taken place at the State Darwin Museum in Russia’s capital Moscow on August 26th.

Attending the opening ceremony were Minister-Counselor Lai Ngoc Doan along with officials of Vietnam Embassy in Russia, Ambassadors and Chargé Embassies of ASEAN member countries in Moscow.

On the Russian side were representatives of the ASEAN Centre of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and many international friends.

The annual event was organized with the initiative of the ASEAN Centre and the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs under the framework of activities to mark the 20th anniversary of the ASEAN-Russia Agreement on Friendship Cooperation.

The exhibition displayed art works made by Russian painters during three years travelling through ASEAN members’ nations such as the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia and Vietnam.

Visitors had opportunities to enjoy the folk music and traditional food of ASEAN nations such as Laotian sticky rice, Vietnamese spring rolls and Indonesian fried rice.

Vietnamese Minister-Counselor Lai Ngoc Doan said that this is a good chance for Vietnam to introduce its nation and people as well as the country’s renewal achievements to the world.

The exhibition has contributed to fostering the connections among ASEAN countries as well as their friendship with Russia, he added.

The exhibition will open until November 6th./.
