The Cao Bang Introduction Conference was held on October 3 in Hanoi by Cao Bang People's Committee and Vietnam's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The conference was themed "Cao Bang Destination - Connection and Development."

Many representatives of businesses, non-governmental organizations, and embassies of countries in Vietnam saw the potential of the province in developing tourism and attracting investors.

On the other hand, Cao Bang is located in the northernmost part of the border with China, he said, so the border gate economy is developing. However, this is still an area where many businesses cannot invest due to geographical and infrastructure reasons. Kocham Association has 10,000 businesses operating in Vietnam but no Korean businesses have invested in Cao Bang.

"Cao Bang needs to maximize its current strengths so that it can work with more domestic and foreign partners, especially improving infrastructure along with traffic to remove barriers in transportation. If transportation in Cao Bang is upgraded, Kocham will also look for interested businesses and build business delegations," said the Korean businessman.

Although Cao Bang does not have a border with Laos, there is potential to enhance its cooperation with three Northern provinces in Laos.

"I am very impressed with the beauty of Cao Bang. Cao Bang has a similar geographical location to the northern provinces of Laos. Therefore, Cao Bang can consider cooperation with the three northern provinces of Laos. For example, to introduce investors from Cao Bang province to invest in Laos, contributing to the economic growth of the two countries," said the foreign diplomat.

The Chairman of the Central and Eastern European Business Association (CEEC) in Vietnam shared that he has been to Cao Bang province many times and recognized its natural beauty as "Vietnam's diamond."

"The province needs to take advantage of opportunities and to be open to share information with businesses from other countries to promote cooperation. There is much room for cooperation between Cao Bang and Central and Eastern European businesses in the high-tech agriculture sector, which CEEC will actively support," said Marko Moric.
