The Vietnam Times has received an album from Do Quy Quang, a young photographer who portrays autumn in Hanoi as being extraordinarily pastoral, lyrical, and beautiful.

“It isn't always this nice in Hanoi,” the young photographer said. "There are many things to remember about Hanoi," Quang added when sharing these photos. “It is the images of the people, street corners, and flower carts.”

As a result, residents of Hanoi often remember the romantic season when they get to experience the milk flower scent floating in the air, the waning of the sun, and the cool autumn winds. Knijoelli, from Frankfurt, Germany, shared that "Hanoi has construction sites everywhere. It's great to have a quiet area like this to be able to relax the mind. I love it, I love the quiet areas in Hanoi."

"This location is near to my home. My whole childhood was spent in the alleyways, and every afternoon in the summer, after attending ward activities, my siblings and I would go there to paint images on the walls," shared Nguyen Thuy Linh, when being interviewed by the Vietnam Times.

Lisa Mai, from Berlin, Germany, told the Vietnam Times, "It's great to be able to visit Hanoi at the best season of the year. It's not too hot so my friends and I are able to visit places. The people of Hanoi are so nice and the wealth gap is much different from the South of Vietnam. People here (in Hanoi) are much more relaxed and happy. It's great to be here."
