International traditional martial arts festival opens in Binh Dinh
(VNF) - The sixth international festival of Vietnamese traditional martial arts kicked off in Quy Nhon city, the central province of Binh Dinh, on August 2nd.
The opening ceremony in Quy Nhon City's central square featured performances by Vietnamese and international martial artists.

This year’s event attracts 52 martial arts delegations with some 1,000 members from around the world. Among them, 16 delegations featuring 130 instructors and practitioners come from France, Italy, Russia, Portugal, Algeria, Morocco, the US, and Canada, among others.
The festival, initiated in 2006, has become a rendezvous for Vietnam’s traditional martial arts lovers, said Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Ho Quoc Dung at the opening ceremony.

The sixth event continues to be an opportunity for domestic and foreign martial arts clubs to share experience in promoting, tightening the solidarity, and contributing to the preservation of Vietnamese traditional martial arts which have been thriving in Binh Dinh province, he added.
The festival will last through August 4th./.
