Jaipur Foot Artificial Limb Fitment Camp opened in Yen Bai

The inauguration ceremony was held by the Embassy of India in Hanoi in coordination with the People’s Committees of Yen Bai and the Indian-based non-profit organization, Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samiti (BMVSS), organised under the "India for Humanity" Initiative of the Ministry of External Affairs of the Government of India launched to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.

Jaipur Foot Artificial Limb Fitment Camp is one of the cooperation programme stated in the Joint Statement issued during the state visit of Vietnamese President Tran Dai Quang to India in March 2018. The initiative was encouraged by the spouse of State President Tran Dai Quang, Nguyen Thi Hien, after her visit to BMVSS’s Jaipur Foot Center in Delhi.
During the programme, many Jaipur Foot artificial limb fitments were gifted to Vietnamese beneficiaries in the province.
