The bicycles are practical gifts for needy students, especially since many of them are living far away from school.
Having qualified means of transport will mitigate the hardships facing students on their way to school, thus reduce absence rate and disruption of study, helping them reach for brighter future.
For his part, JVK President Miyahara Haruo said that the cooperation between DAFO and JVK is a meaningful programs, demonstrating the great friendship between the two countries and two people. During this trip to Da Nang, the JVK also visited some students who had received bicycles donated by the Branch during the past time. At the same time, this is also an opportunity for members of the delegation to witness the dynamic development of Da Nang.
Within the framework of the visit, the JVK delegation donated 170 bicycle for students in Hoa Vang, Cam Le and Ngu Hanh Son districts. Afterwards, the delegation visited the families of five students who had received bicycles in previous years and presented gifts to the children.
