The construction of new facilities at Phuoc Tien satellite school was inaugurated on Feb 20. |
The new facilities include three classrooms, school furnitures for teachers and students.
The construction was carried out under the program "Improving the quality of educational facilities for Phuoc Tien satellite school under Hung Phuoc Elementary and Secondary School", as part of the cooperation of provincial Department of Foreign Affairs, KFHI Vietnam and and sponsors.
Total repair cost VND 1 billion (about USD 43.045) is funded by DB Kim Jun-ki Culture Foundation, KFHI Vietnam and the Vietnam Post and Telecommunication Insurance JS Corporation (PTI).
The program aims to motivate, encourage the learning spirit of students in remote areas to rise in learning.
Bicycles also were handed over to 20 disadvantaged students with outstanding academic achievements in Hung Phuoc commune.
