IFRC supports the construction of new fishing boats for Quang Nam fishermen
	India Funds New Classroom Building at Hua Kieu School, Lang Son

The project to construct the three new functional rooms at Phuoc Hoa Primary and Secondary School in Village 2, Phuoc Hoa Commune, Phuoc Son District, Quang Nam Province, will be implemented from January 2025 to December 2025. The total grant funding amounts to 1.6 billion VND, equivalent to 66,340 USD.

The primary objective of the project is to ensure the durability and safety of the school facilities, creating favorable conditions to enhance teaching and learning quality. Additionally, the project aims to help Phuoc Hoa Commune meet the educational infrastructure criteria outlined in the national standards for building new rural areas.

It is known that in Phuoc Hoa Commune, 95% of students are from ethnic minority backgrounds, with most families classified as poor or near-poor households, living under challenging and deprived conditions. KFHI’s support in constructing the three classrooms in Village 2 will provide teachers and students with a better learning environment, promoting development and contributing to the local government’s efforts to advance education socialization goals.
