Long An province delegation surveyed the Metro Grand Paris Express project.

On November 12 in France, the delegation held a working session with the President of Soletanche Freyssinet Group, a global leader in cable-stayed structure technology and infrastructure construction.

Vice Chairman of the Long An People's Committee, Huynh Van Son, emphasized that transport infrastructure is crucial for the province's economy. Therefore, Long An prioritizes resources to complete major transport projects to boost investment and economic growth. The province has been focusing on key national traffic projects and inter-regional connections like the Tan An City Belt Road and provincial roads 823D, 830E, and 827E. The project for three bridges on provincial road 827E, approved by the Government with an ODA investment of about VND 4,797 billion, is well-suited to the expertise of leading construction technology firms like Soletanche Freyssinet Group.

Following their session with Soletanche Freyssinet, the delegation toured the Metro Grand Paris Express project, one of France's largest transport infrastructure projects. On November 13, they participated in the Vietnam-France trade and investment seminar, meeting French enterprises and investors interested in Vietnam, as well as diplomatic agencies and businesses from both countries.

On November 12, in France, the delegation had a working session with the President of Sotelanche Freysinet Group - the world's leading group in cable-stayed structure technology and structures of transport infrastructure, civil and industrial construction works.

Accordingly, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Van Son informed that transport infrastructure is a lever for the province's economy, therefore, Long An prioritizes allocating resources to complete major transport projects to accelerate investment attraction and promote the economy.

In fact, Long An has been focusing on implementing and completing ahead-of-schedule key national traffic projects and inter-regional connection projects such as Tan An City Belt Road, and provincial roads 823D, 830E, and 827E.

For the project of 3 bridges on provincial road 827E, the Government has approved the project proposal using ODA, with a total investment of about VND 4,797 billion. With its scale and high technical requirements, this project is suitable for the capacity and experience of pioneering construction technology corporations such as Sotelanche Freyssinet Group.

After the working session with the Soletanche Freyssinet Group, the Long An delegation surveyed the Metro Grand Paris Express project, one of the largest transport infrastructure projects in France today.

On November 13, the delegation attended the Vietnam-France trade and investment seminar with the participation of many French enterprises and investors interested in Vietnam; and met with diplomatic agencies and businesses of France and Vietnam.

In the following days, the Long An delegation will organize a Long An-Cologne business roundtable; and work with the Vietnam-Belgium Alliance.

In addition, the delegation will work bilaterally with leaders and leading corporations in France, Belgium, and Germany in the fields of transportation, energy, industry, etc.; and attend a dialogue program in the Vietnamese capital in Frankfurt.

This is a connecting program to attract financial investment, investment in green transformation projects in the Vietnamese market in general, Long An province in particular; at the same time, it helps Long An province expand international relations with partners in Europe, promote economic cooperation, attract investment in green transformation projects, and actively contribute to the shift of foreign direct investment (FDI) into Long An.
