NA Chairwoman to attend IPU-137 in Russia and visit Kazakhstan
National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan will attend the 137th Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Assembly and related meetings in Russia from October 14th-15th and pay an official visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan from October 16th-18th.

Her participation in the 137th IPU Assembly and related meetings is made at the invitation of IPU President Saber Chowdhury, Chairwoman of the Federation Council of Russia Valentina Ivanovna Matviyenko, and Chairman of the State Duma of Russia Vyacheslav Volodin.
She will later visit Kazakhstan at the invitation of Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym Zhomart Tokayev, and Chairman of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurlan Nigmatulin.
The year 2017 marks the 25th anniversary of Vietnam – Kazakhstan diplomatic ties and NA Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan’s visit will be considered as important landmarks in the friendship between the two nations./.
