During their stay in Da Nang, the ship’s commanding officers will pay courtesy calls on the leaders of the Da Nang People’s Committee and the Command of Naval Region 3. The officers and crew members will also visit historical and cultural sites in Da Nang and participate in exchange activities and joint exercises with the Vietnam People’s Navy. These activities aim to enhance coordination capabilities between the two navies.
The visit by the RoK Kang Gam Chan is considered a significant defense diplomacy activity that helps strengthen the friendship, cooperation, and mutual understanding between the armed forces and peoples of both countries. It also contributes to further promoting the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Vietnam and the RoK in a deep, substantial, and effective manner.
