World famous supermodel Naomi Campbell embraced Vietnamese culture by wearing an Ao dai (Vietnamese traditional dress) to attend an event in Can Tho City on June 2nd.

Naomi joins the event together with Vietnamese celebrities including actress and former Tourism Ambassador Ly Nha Ky, Miss Ao dai Vietnam 2015 Lan Khue, Miss Vietnam 2010 Ngoc Han, and model Phuong Mai.

Nha Ky said Naomi had spent a lot of time on sightseeing in Vietnam, visiting Da Nang, Hoi An, Hue and Can Tho ahead of the event.

She looks graceful in a dress designed by Hoang Hai, while Naomi wows in an Ao dai designed by Cong Tri.

Nha Ky even helps Naomi choose jewellery to match her embroidered Ao dai before the event.

The former Tourism Ambassador said Naomi is very fond of Vietnamese cuisine such as Pho (noodle soup) and Banh Mi (Bread), she is also very friendly to her Vietnamese fans. Campbell said she will come back to Vietnam later this year and will ask Nha Ky to show her round Ho Chi Minh City.

The Ao dai Naomi wears is a design from the latest collection by Cong Tri which was recently introduced at Vietnam International Fashion Week 2018 in Ho Chi Minh City.
