Vietnam Achieves Highest Export Growth to Singapore in 11 Months
	Economic Diplomacy: Solid Foundation for Elevating Vietnam-Singapore Relations

The official logo was launched to mark a new milestone in the Vietnam-Singapore strategic partnership in 2025, coinciding with Vietnam’s 80th National Day, and Singapore's 60th National Day.

The logo features two flowers with profound symbolic meaning. Singapore's national flower, the Vanda Miss Joaquim orchid, represents its unique culture, and the spirit of striving for progress and excellence. Meanwhile, Vietnam’s pink lotus reflects the nation’s refined qualities, purity, and resilient vitality. This emblem not only signifies the enduring cooperation between the two nations but also conveys a message of advancing toward a strategic partnership in the new era.

Speaking at the event, Vu Viet Ngoan, President of the Vietnam-Singapore Friendship Association, said that this logo is not only a symbol of partnership in the new era but also an image representing the strong friendship between the peoples of both countries. It reflects the shared achievements built by partners in Vietnam and Singapore. "In 2025 and beyond, with solidarity and cooperation, we will move towards a promising future. Vietnam will enter a new era of growth and transformation, as our national leaders have envisioned, creating tremendous opportunities to strengthen the partnership between the two sides," he said.

Vu Viet Ngoan also highlighted the long-standing and proud tradition of collaboration between the Vietnam-Singapore Friendship Association and the Singaporean Embassy. Together, they have fostered closer ties between the peoples of both nations through many meaningful and effective activities, contributing to stronger solidarity, better friendships, and a more harmonious world.

Ambassador Jaya Ratnam remarked that the logo is the first symbol of the Vietnam-Singapore partnership in 2025, marking a significant beginning. This year will witness numerous high-level visits and collaborative initiatives that will elevate bilateral relations to a comprehensive strategic partnership. He noted:

"People-to-people relations are the solid foundation that enables our two countries to achieve greater goals. The slogan 'Partnership of a New Era' not only embodies the spirit of cooperation but also conveys trust and hope for the future of both nations."

The unveiling of the logo also kicked off a series of significant bilateral activities planned for 2025, as the two countries aim to elevate their strategic partnership to new heights. During a phone call on December 20, 2024 between General Secretary To Lam and the Prime Minister of Singapore, Lawrence Wong, Prime Minister Wong extended a formal invitation for General Secretary To Lam and his spouse to officially visit Singapore at a convenient time in 2025. General Secretary To Lam graciously accepted and, in turn, invited Prime Minister Lawrence Wong and his spouse to visit Vietnam at a mutually suitable time.
