One night only special experimental music night in Hanoi

(VNF) - To say hello to the Year of Dog with a bright vision of the future of Vietnamese and international experimental music, and with the return of training courses, monthly concerts and the Hanoi New Music Festival in November 2018, DomDom and Heritage Space will host a program “BEYOND SOUND of 2018”, featuring the “hottest” generation of Vietnamese experimental musicians and international guests.

'BEYOND SOUND' of 2018, a special experimental music night, performed by distinguised guests, selected composers from the U.S., Japan, Australia, Switzerland and Vietnam, in Hanoi.

You will get to enjoy live music performances by the Japanese saxophonist/video artist Katsura Yamauchi; amazing new work by the Austrian-Vietnamese duo Siedl Cao entitled “Parallel Asteroid”: a real-time musical sculpture; and a series of improvise musical performances by emerging Vietnamese experimental musicians such as Thuy Dung/đàn tranh (plucked zither), Huong Nguyen/objects, Thanh Tam/objects, Nguyen Viet/saxophone, Nguyen Do Minh Quan/electronics.

‘BEYOND SOUND’ is a series of concerts of experimental music aiming to reveal the latest works of Vietnamese and foreign composer/ musician. The program is curated and organised by Heritage Space and Dom Dom.

The special experimental music night will be held on March 2^nd, 8.30 – 10.30 pm at Heritage Space (1^st Floor, Dolphin Plaza, My Dinh 2, Hanoi)

Special ticket cost VND 100,000 (including one free drink); standard ticket is VND 80,000 and for members & students’ tickets are VND 50,000./.
