Over 103,000 visit Uncle Ho’s mausoleum during holidays
Numerous compatriots and soldiers flocked to Hanoi to visit Ba Dinh cultural and historical relic complex on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of National Reunification Day (April 30th, 1975) and International Day (May 1st), reported the Vietnam News Agency.
The site includes the President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Relic in the Presidential Palace, the Ho Chi Minh Museum and the Memorial to National Heroic Martyrs.
According to the managing board for President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, on April 28th-30th and May 2nd-3rd, about 103,642 people, including 11,355 being foreigners, visited the site to pay tributes to President Ho Chi Minh.
Specifically, on April 30th, 26,253 people paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum.
On this occasion, the managing board for President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum closely coordinated with functional agencies to warmly welcome visitors, especially children and foreigners to the mausoleum./.
