Over 40,000 holidaymakers visit Ha Long bay on Hung Kings anniversary

Quang Ninh licensed 1,500 boat arrivals through Tuan Chau International Tourist Wharf to bring more than 40,000 tourist arrivals to Ha Long bay during the three-day Hung Kings anniversary holiday, from April 16th to 18th, reported the Quang Ninh provincial Waterway Port Authority.

In spite of the high number of tourists, careful preparations at Tuan Chau International Tourist Wharf ensured that all procedures were solved rapidly, while maintaining good sanitation, environment and security.

According to statistics of the Mong Cai municipal Culture and Information Office, during the holiday the city itself also received over 20,000 tourist arrivals.

Of this, tourists passing through the Mong Cai International Border Gate numbered over 16,000, while those staying in the city were 5,000.

Apart from popular destinations such as Tra Co and the center of Mong Cai, tourists traveled to Sa Vi cape and Vinh Thuc island.

On this occasion, Mong Cai set up a pedestrian street in Hoa Lac district, linking to another walking route in Tran Phu district in order to connect shopping and entertainment services, creating an attractive tourist product./.
