Party Officials Receive Japanese Communist Party Delegation
The Japanese Communist Party (JCP) paid great attention to developing ties with the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV), would continue to support and cooperate with Vietnam for the growth of each country and peace, security in the region.

Nguyen Xuan Thang, Politburo member, President of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics (HCMA) and Chairman of the Central Theory Council, received a delegation of the Japanese Communist Party (JCP) in Hanoi, according to VNA.
Thang noted that the visit by the Japanese delegation, led by Ogata Yasuo, Vice Chairman of the Presidium of the JCP and head of its International Department, demonstrated the friendship and close cooperation between the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) and the JCP.
He conveyed the regards of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and other senior Party leaders of the CPV to JCP Chairman Shii Kazuo.
Thang stressed that the theoretical exchange mechanism has been a pillar of the relationship between the two Parties, and suggested the two sides closely coordinate with each other to contribute to diversifying the Vietnam-Japan Extensive Strategic Partnership for Peace and Prosperity in Asia.

For his part, Yasuo conveyed the regards of JCP Chairman Kazuo to Party General Secretary Trong, and congratulated Vietnam on its great, comprehensive achievements recorded under the leadership of the CPV, especially those made in Covid-19 prevention and control and economic development with a high growth rate.
He spoke highly of socialism building in Vietnam, which puts people at the centre, and noted his belief that the CPV will successfully implement the resolution adopted at the 13th National Party Congress.
They said the traditional friendship between the JCP and CPV has been increasingly promoted via contacts and exchanges in various forms, including theoretical exchanges and close liaison at regional and global multilateral forums.
Earlier the same day, the JCP delegation held talks with a CPV delegation headed by Le Hoai Trung, a member of the Party Central Committee and head of its Commission for External Relations.

They extensively discussed the situation of each Party, regional and global issues of shared concern, as well as orientations to stepping up ties between the two Parties and mutual support at regional and global multilateral forums.
The officials concurred to maintain high-level contacts and meetings, step up the sharing of information and experience in Party building and socialism building, both theoretically and practically, bring into full play the theoretical exchange mechanism, and coordinate with each other at regional and international forums.
They agreed that via meetings and exchanges, ties between the CPV and JCP will be increasingly strengthened, contributing to raising understanding and friendship between the two peoples, as well as the development of international communist and workers’ movements.
