Choi Chnam Thmay is the traditional New Year of the Khmer people living in the Cửu Long (Mekong) Delta. It takes place from April 13 to 15, bringing crowds to pagodas to worship Buddha. Traditional customs like bathing the Buddha statue, and wearing wish bracelets, as well as music and dance performances, are also offered.
