This is a large construction belonging to the corporate social responsibility project that has been carried out since 2012 by the company.

Costing nearly VND50 billion, the construction was built to international, environmentally friendly standards on an area of over one hectare. The school has over 30 classrooms, playground and other supplementary buildings.

Dinh Sy Phuc, President of the company trade union, said that the company leaders understand the difficulties of workers in sending children to private foundations. Therefore, the company decided to build the pre-school to deal with workers’ difficulties.

Speaking during the inauguration ceremony, Chung Joo Kyung, the company general director, the pre-school showed gratitude of the company leaders for the huge contributions to cadres and labourers. The comfortable schools aimed to care better for labourers’ children, helping them focus on work.

Before the school is completed, the company is giving 7,000 workers support worth VND100,000 every month for each of their children under 6 years old.

Over the past years, the 26,000-labourer company has conducted perse activities to raise the quality of living condition for labourers, including opening inexpensive supermarkets for labourers, serving breakfasts at enterprises, and upgrading general medical centres for labourers./.
