A total of 21 units have completed 100% of the financial transfers to localities, including: the Ministry of National Defense, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Vinh Phuc Province, Da Nang, Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province, Vietnam National Petroleum Group, Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group, Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Group, Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank), Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank), Loc Phat Vietnam Commercial Joint Stock Bank (LPBank), Saigon-Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SHB), Vietnam Prosperity Commercial Joint Stock Bank (VPBank), Vietnam Export Import Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Eximbank), Vietnam International Commercial Joint Stock Bank (VIB), Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (ACB), Vietnam Technological and Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Techcombank), Vietnam Maritime Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MSB), Masan Group, and Hoa Phat Group.

According to the Ministry of Ethnic and Religious Affairs, a total of 168,027 temporary and dilapidated houses have been eliminated nationwide. Specifically, housing support has been provided for 15,491 homes for people with meritorious service to the revolution, 60,473 homes under two national target programs, and 92,063 homes under the Temporary and Dilapidated House Elimination Program.

In the past week, approximately 11,000 houses have been completed or newly built, averaging 25 houses per day per locality under the program.

Implementing the emulation movement "Joining Hands to Eliminate Temporary and Dilapidated Houses Nationwide in 2025" launched by the Prime Minister, all levels of government, from the central to local levels, have demonstrated high determination and great efforts to achieve the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses by 2025.

At the launch ceremony of the 90-day campaign "Joining Hands to Eliminate Temporary and Dilapidated Houses," held by Ninh Thuan Province on March 29, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung highly praised the commitment and responsibility of the political system from the provincial to grassroots levels, emphasizing their strong political will and great efforts to turn challenges into opportunities and the impossible into possible. He also noted that the province's specific roadmap and objectives aim to complete the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses for those facing housing difficulties by June 2025.

If this goal is achieved, Ninh Thuan will be one of the fastest-implementing localities, finishing six months ahead of the national plan.

The Deputy Prime Minister also urged Ninh Thuan’s leadership to strengthen their commitment to ensuring that the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses is fully achieved.

Housing construction must adhere to the "three solid criteria," avoiding poor-quality projects that may deteriorate again, as well as preventing any exploitation or misuse of policies. The province must carefully review emerging cases to provide timely support, ensuring that no one is left behind.

In Can Tho, during a handover ceremony for Great Solidarity Houses to disadvantaged households in O Mon District and Thoi Lai District, organized by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City in collaboration with the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City, Le Nguyen Sinh Nhut, emphasized that the houses handed over have profound humanitarian significance, helping families secure stable housing and focus on their livelihoods. This effort also contributes to the "Joining Hands to Eliminate Temporary and Dilapidated Houses" movement and the "Building New Rural Areas and Civilized Urban Areas" campaign in the city.

Le Nguyen Sinh Nhut also stated that Can Tho is striving to ensure that by April 2025, every resident in the city will have stable housing through the movement "Joining Hands to Eliminate Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in the City by 2025."
