Following this event, Vy will represent the country in the upcoming global competition Miss World 2018, which is scheduled to take place in December in China.

Bui Phuong Nga, who was born in the central province of Ha Tinh, and Nguyen Thi Thuy An from the Mekong Delta province of Kien Giang were the first and second runners-up, respectively.

Nga, 20, was named in the top 3 of the Miss Sport and Miss Talent sessions. She is often complimented on her beautiful skin. Nga’s overly slim figure is seen as a minus point.
