The road from Phan Thiet city to Vietnam’s largest sand dune of Bau Trang (White Sand Dune) in Hong Lam Hamlet, Hoa Thang commune, Bac Binh district, Binh Thuan province is about 65 km long.

White Sand Dunes is the most outstanding sandy hills in Binh Thuan in particular and Vietnam in general. It is considered very impressive with natural factors like flowers, blue sea and sky, sunshine and wind.

The Bau Trang has three lakes: Bau Ong (Gentleman Lake), Bau Ba (Lady Lake), and Bau Xoai (Mango Lake). Among three lakes, Lady Lake is the largest one, while Mango Lake is the smallest one. Between Bau Ong and Bau Ba is Bau Sen (or Lotus Lake).

Bau Sen is a cool oasis amid the hot sand dunes. Bau Sen is not just a place of providing fresh water, but it is also one of beautiful attractions in Mui Ne.

Leaving Bau Trang with endless white sand dunes and vast lakes with lotus flowers, travellers can explore another amazing sand dune. Without outstanding scenery like White Sand Dunes, Red Sand Dunes fascinates tourists by its convenient resorts, and beautiful beach view.

Mui Ne Red Sand Dunes is located in the North of Mui Ne Village, about 20 km from Phan Thiet City.
