A garden on Borishenko street, the Russian city of Vlapostok, has been officially named after President Ho Chi Minh.

At the monument inauguration ceremony

In the gardent, on July 5, a statue of President Ho Chi Minh, an artwork by a local artist named Peter Chegodaev was inaugurated. The inauguration ceremony was witnessed by Vlapostok city's leaders, representatives of Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Vietnamese Consulate in Vlapostok and the Vietnamese community in Primorye.

The artwork replicates the image of President Ho Chi Minh in a standing posture, with his two hands placing on a book.

The inauguration of the statue was held on occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Treaty on Basic principles of Vietnam-Russia relations, 10th anniversary of Vlapostok-HCMC relations establishment.
