“Scenes of Singapore” art exhibition
The Embassy of the Republic of Singapore in Hanoi and the Singapore Watercolor Society (SWS) will co-organize the “Scenes of Singapore” art exhibition at Hanoi Old Quarter Cultural Exchange Centre from November 20th – 27th.

The event will be organized in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Independence of Singapore.

Showing a collection of 25 works by 25 artists from the SWS, the event aims to introduce the Vietnamese people how scenes of Singapore have changed over the past 50 years.

The works are the expressions of the artists’ nostalgic feelings and thoughts about Singapore which has undergone significant changes since it’s independence on August 9th, 1965.

The SWS is one of the oldest watercolour societies in the region. Since its establishment in 1969, it has organised and participated in major exhibitions in Singapore and abroad. Many of its members have won awards in exhibitions and competitions around the world./.
