During the two-week programme, the students from the Merlion city, together with local volunteer team have been taking part in cleanup work in the locality's schools, the martyrs’ cemetery, streets and other public places in three hamlets: Thanh Ky, An Dinh and An Lao.

They also participate in making learning equipments and toys for local students and gardening work in kindergartens.

In addition, the Singaporean volunteers learn about Vietnamese culture via various exchange activities including arts performance, sports and folk game.
