The special class was held to celebrate Youth Month and the 92nd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - 2023). It is also part of the national border education program of March 2023.

In particular, the Hoanh Mo Border Gate (Binh Lieu District, Quang Ninh Province), on March 26, Hoanh Mo Border Gate Border Guard Station coordinated with Ngo Quyen Secondary School (Cam Pha City, Quang Ninh Province) to welcome new union members. All of the 54 new members attended the "border lesson".

The class instructors are the green rank soldiers of Hoanh Mo Border Guard Station. The main lesson introduced the national border territorial sovereignty, borders, landmarks, and border gates. Students also learned about their roles as students and union members to contribute to national border territorial sovereignty.

The goal is to help students in border areas, and members of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union gain more knowledge, also enhance their patriotism and national pride. This would help them learn about the responsibilities of becoming a good student, a good citizen, who works hard towards the national construction and the defense of border security.
