Attending the program were Phonesy Bounmixay, Consul General of the Lao People's Democratic Republic in Ho Chi Minh City, representatives of the Provincial Youth Union, Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations, Vietnam - Laos Friendship Association, People's Committee of Vinh Cuu district and a large number of students of Dong Nai Province and Lao students.

Speaking at the event, Do Dang Tuoc, Chairman of the Vietnam - Laos Friendship Association emphasized that Vietnam and Laos are two close neighbors, sharing a long-standing and faithful friendship.

In 2009, the Vietnam - Laos Friendship Association of the province was established, an important turning point in the friendly relationship between the people of Dong Nai province and the people of localities in Laos.

Over the past 15 years, the association has continuously strived to consolidate and strengthen friendly relations through diverse forms and activities. It has developed over 40 branches, 4 joint branches of wards and communes with nearly 2 thousand members.

The Association regularly promotes propaganda and education about the meaning of the relationship and cooperation between Vietnam and Laos to the young generation.

Within the festival framework, Dong Nai and Laos students heard the Consul General of the Lao People's Democratic Republic in Ho Chi Minh City Phonesy Bounmixay share information about the special solidarity between Vietnam and Laos in the past and present.

Representative of the Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations provided general information about people's foreign affairs work. Thereby, they also strengthen cohesion, helping the youth of the two countries fully understand and continue to protect and cultivate the traditional, faithful, and long-standing relationship of the two countries.

Besides viewing the Vietnam - Laos friendship relationship photo exhibition, Dong Nai and Laos students can participate in cultural exchanges and folk games.
