Strengthening People-to-people Exchanges Between Vietnamese and Americans
According to Pam DeVolder, the US Embassy hopes to coordinate with the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO) to organize cultural exchange activities to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Vietnam-US Comprehensive Partnership (2013-2023). The proposed activities aimed at enhancing mutual understanding and friendship between the peoples of the two countries.

The US Embassy proposed to combine educational activities with sports and art events. Education on the history of Vietnam-US bilateral relations and information exchanges of opportunities to study abroad will be held alongside fun games, music performances, and exhibitions. The program is expected to take place in Hanoi with the participation of experts, former ambassadors, representatives of agencies, NGOs, artists, and young people from the USA and Vietnam.
Dong Huy Cuong said that VUFO highly valued the importance of the event and agreed to cooperate with the US Embassy in organizing cultural activities, thereby contributing to strengthening the people-to-people relations between the two countries.
