Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his spouse will attend the ASEAN-Australia Special Summit to commemorate the 50th anniversary of ASEAN-Australia dialogue relations, and pay the official visit to Australia from March 5-9, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced.

The Vietnam - Australia Friendship Food and Culture Festival 2023 took place in Hanoi, as part of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Australia - Vietnam diplomatic relations.

Australia is the seventh biggest trade partner of Vietnam, and Vietnam is the 10th largest trade partner of Australia for the first time.
