Upon receiving information on the fire, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Chairwoman of the State Commission for Overseas Vietnamese sent a letter of sympathy to the affected Vietnamese citizens and organizations.

According to recent statistics, overseas Vietnamese from 35 countries and territories have invested in 385 FDI projects in 42/63 provinces and cities in Vietnam with a total registered capital of US$1.72 billion.

Deputy Minister Le Thi Thu Hang appreciated the Vietnamese community in Kyushu - a young, dynamic, enthusiastic community - that has recently made many contributions to the representative agency's foreign affairs work.
