The Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO), in collaboration with the Governance and Policy Think Tank of Iran (GPTT), organized a virtual roundtable titled "West and East Asia: Similarities and Common Interests" on September 16, in Hanoi. Participants provided an overview of the general situation in West and East Asia and identified opportunities for fostering cooperation between Vietnam and Iran.

Vietnam was ranked 7th among the 10 best destinations in East Asia to visit by Canadian magazine The Travel.

Vietnam is famous as one of the most peaceful countries in the world with many beautiful landscapes. This makes Vietnam one of the best countries to visit in East Asia, according to The Travel.

Hanoi should develop into a political, economic and cultural center in East Asia by 2045 when Viet Nam becomes a developed country, said Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc.
