After hearing reports of an outbreak of African swine fever in Asian countries, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has issued a number of recommendations for businesses exporting pigs to Cambodia.

From June 12, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) has allowed businesses to import live pigs from Thailand. This move is to cool down pork prices which have skyrocketed in the domestic market recently.
