Vietnam and France reviewed their achievements in bilateral defense ties, and signed a letter of intent to promote their cooperation in this field during the ongoing visit to Hanoi by French Minister of the Armed Forces Sébastien Lecornu.

On the occasion of Vietnam's high-level delegation on an official visit to India from June 17 to 20, Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Vietnamese Minister of Defense General Phan Van Giang reaffirmed that defense cooperation is one of the important pillars contributing to promoting the partnership between the two countries.
