More than 30 teams from schools in the central and southern regions of Vietnam participated in the FIRST® LEGO® LEAGUE competition to earn an invitation to the FIRST Championship, where teams from all over the world meet and compete.

Through the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), the United States Mission to Vietnam honored its eight-year collaboration with Arizona State University and Vietnam which has improved STEM education in Vietnamese higher education institutions. The event, which took place on August 18 in Hanoi during the 8th annual Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math Conference (STEMCON), attracted more than 200 business executives, educators, policymakers, and entrepreneurs.

This year’s International Women’s Day (March 8) spotlights the digital divide between men and women and calls for an inclusive digital and technological transformation for everyone, everywhere. According to the Resident Coordinator of the UN in Vietnam Pauline Tamesis, this theme is particularly timely and relevant in Vietnam as the Government embarks on an ambitious digitalization journey.
