On December 26, at the People's Committee of Soc Trang province, Consul General of India in Ho Chi Minh City Madan Mohan Sethi led the delegation to visit and work with leaders of Soc Trang province.

At the 5th meeting of India-Vietnam Joint Trade Sub-Commission (JTSC), held on 8 August in New Delhi (India), the representatives of Vietnam and India discussed many necessary measures to remove trade barriers, especially for major sectors, and to create favorable business conditions for enterprises of the two countries.

On the occasion of Vietnam's high-level delegation on an official visit to India from June 17 to 20, Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Vietnamese Minister of Defense General Phan Van Giang reaffirmed that defense cooperation is one of the important pillars contributing to promoting the partnership between the two countries.

According to Director of Swami Vivekananda Cultural Center in Hanoi, Monica Sharma, many cultural activities are planned for the year 2023 such as the International Yoga Day organized in Vietnamese localities, Indian classical dance delegation to visit and perform at the art schools of the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
